Bayraktar Insaat, which was established in 1953 as a family company, is operating in the fields of construction, tourism and energy with its experience and know-how.
Bayraktar, has undertaken both investments and constructions of significant and trademark superstructure projects with having a total construction area more than 3 million m². Turkey’s largest outdoor shopping mall in outlet concept ViaPort, a mixed use project including mall-office-house and residences to meet Istanbul and Venice ViaPort Venezia, Turkey’s first international standard theme park, concert area and shopping mall ViaLand, prestigious residences and houses in ViaPort Houses & Suites, the most centrally located business centers in Ankara Via Tower and Via Twins, The First Gold Leed Certified, ‘Green Building’ business center in Ankara Via Green could be given as examples.
Crowne Plaza Asia which is located within ViaPort, is the first investment of Bayraktar in tourism. This 5 star facility is only 5 minutes to Sabiha Gökçen International Airport and provides professional solutions to the business world with its excellent hotel service as well as congress and meeting rooms. The Hotel in ViaLand and ViaPort Marina mixed use project in Tuzla including 750 yacht capacity marine, entertainment center, shopping mall and Hotel are the other existing investments of Bayraktar in tourism.
As an investor, Bayraktar is taking place in energy sector as well, which is the key player for the economic, environmental and social development. Today, Hydroelectric and Solar Power Plants investments exist within the company, and it is planned to invest new projects especially in Renewable Energy projects (HEPP, Solar, Wind, Geothermal). In addition to those investments, Bayraktar is acting in electricity trading by its sister Electricity Wholesale company.
